The Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics of the University of Vienna announces the temporary position (for the period of October 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015) of a University Professor in Economics (Microeconomics). The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for the teaching of an Introductory Course in economics and for some optional courses in applied economic areas for both economics and business students. The successful candidate should also publish research in international journals in economics. The teaching load is 8 hours/semester.

Your tasks:

Successful candidates should demonstrate: • Outstanding educational and didactic skills as well as a high quality teaching skills • Relevant, good quality publications • Teaching experience in the field

PhD and post-doctoral experience at a university or other research institution. (Austrian or equivalent international academic degree in the relevant field.)
