A diversified and highly international department. More than 30 junior and senior professors together with numerous PhD candidates from all over the world form a community dedicated to studying and teaching all aspects of economics.
Excellence in economic research has a long tradition.. Historically, our department has hosted eminent economists such as Menger, Wieser, Böhm-Bawerk and later Schumpeter and Hayek.

Faculty Members
Half of the professors are tenured full professors and associate professors and about half are non-tenured (assistant professors).
