We share ongoing research through five regular seminar series, organized by department members. A calendar of all upcoming internal research seminars is shown below.

is a general interest seminar.

offers internal and external speakers a platform to present quantitative research in applied economics.

are a part of the teaching schedule, offering a forum to explore the planned, ongoing, or completed research projects of our PhD students.


5. The Vienna International Economics Seminar (VIES)

is dedicated to frontier research in international economics and features presentations by renowned international scholars.   


6. The Vienna Center of Ecperimental Ecnomics (VCEE) Seminar

specializes on topics in experimental economics.


External Seminars:

The OeNB Friday Seminar regularly discusses monetary policy topics.

The Joint Vienna Macroeconomics Seminar (JVM) is of interest for macroeconomists.
