Research Seminars
We discuss ongoing research various regular seminar series. More details on the five seminar series which are organized by members of the department can be found by clicking on the links to the right.
A calender with all scheduled internal research seminars can be found below.
- The Vienna Joint Economics Seminar is a general interest seminar and is usually held on Thursdays.
- The VCEE Seminar specializes on topics in experimental economics and is usually held on Fridays.
- In the Applied Economics Seminar internal and external speakers present quantitative work in all fields of applied economics.
- The VGSE-Marco-Seminar is held on Tuesdays and the VGSE-Micro-Seminar is held on Wednesdays. The seminars are part of the teaching schedule and serves to discuss planned, ongoing or completed projects of our PhD students.
- Monetary policy issues are regularly presented in the OeNB Friday Seminar
- An external seminar of interest for macroeconomists is the IHS JVM Seminar
